A quick note before we start
We make LeanBrew, so we're not neutral. We've tried to keep this fair: everything about Lean Coffee Table below comes from their own website and pricing page as of September 2026. Where their site doesn't mention something, we say so instead of assuming it's missing. Prices and plans change, so check their site before you decide.

Where LeanBrew is different
Made for the meeting room too
Many teams run Lean Coffee in an office, not only on a video call. In LeanBrew you open the room screen on the TV: it shows the board, the current topic and a big timer. People join by scanning a QR code with their phone and add topics or vote from there. The same board works for remote colleagues at the same time, so hybrid sessions don't need a separate setup.
A recap in everyone's inbox
When the session ends, everyone who joined with an account gets the topics, notes, decisions and actions with owners by email, and the recap is posted to Slack if you've connected a channel. Nobody has to write minutes or chase people afterwards. The minutes can also be exported to PDF, Markdown or CSV.
No guest cap on the standard price
LeanBrew has one plan per host. There is no fixed limit on the number of guests per meeting, so a department-wide Lean Coffee costs the same as a team one. On Lean Coffee Table, the Standard plan covers 20 guests per meeting; larger groups need Premium or Corporate.
European company, EU hosting
LeanBrew is run by RG-IT B.V. in the Netherlands, hosted in the EU, and offers a data processing agreement. For European companies that makes the privacy check simpler.
Small touches that keep sessions moving
Votes stay private until the reveal, so the loudest voice doesn't set the agenda. When a timebox ends, the room votes to keep going or move on. And you can pick a time's-up sound, from a polite chime to an air horn or a Commodore 64 fanfare.
Where Lean Coffee Table is the better fit
- You want more meeting types in one tool. Lean Coffee Table also offers retrospective boards and agenda-driven meetings. LeanBrew focuses on Lean Coffee; you can run a Lean Coffee style retro with it, but there are no fixed retro columns.
- You live in Zoom and Jira. Lean Coffee Table integrates with Zoom and, on Premium, exports actions to Jira. LeanBrew works next to any video call but has no Zoom or Jira integration.
- Conference-sized events. Lean Coffee Table has a conference mode and a Corporate plan for up to 200 guests, with invoicing and supplier onboarding.
- Track record. Lean Coffee Table has been around for years. LeanBrew launched in 2026.
Pricing compared
Both tools charge the person who runs the meetings, not the participants.
- LeanBrew: €9 per host per month, or €90 per year, excluding VAT. One plan with every feature.
- Lean Coffee Table: Standard £8 / $10 per facilitator per month (20 guests per meeting), Premium £16 / $20 (100 guests), Corporate £75 / $85 (200 guests). Annual plans include a 5% discount.
For a single facilitator with a team of up to 20, the prices are close. With larger groups, LeanBrew's single plan works out cheaper.
Which one should you pick?
- Pick LeanBrew if you run Lean Coffee in a meeting room or hybrid, want recaps sent automatically, prefer an EU-hosted tool, or have groups larger than 20 on a standard budget.
- Pick Lean Coffee Table if you want retrospectives and agenda meetings in the same tool, rely on the Zoom or Jira integrations, or run large conference-style sessions.
The easiest way to decide is to run one real session in each. Both have a 30-day free trial.
How to switch to LeanBrew
- Start a free trial. No credit card needed.
- Create a meeting and add the topics that are still open on your old board.
- Plan it as a recurring session at your usual time, and connect Slack if you want a reminder before each one.
- Share the link. Guests type their name and they're in; in the office, show the room screen and let people scan the QR code.
- Run the session as usual. Leftover topics roll over to the next one automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Is LeanBrew cheaper than Lean Coffee Table?
For one facilitator with up to 20 guests the prices are similar: €9 excl. VAT for LeanBrew versus £8 / $10 for Lean Coffee Table Standard. For larger groups LeanBrew is cheaper, because it has no guest cap per meeting on its single plan.
Can I move my topics and history from Lean Coffee Table?
There is no automatic import. Most teams simply add their open topics to a new LeanBrew meeting; it takes a few minutes. Keep an export of your old minutes for your records.
Does LeanBrew work with Zoom or Microsoft Teams?
It runs in the browser next to any video call. Share the meeting link in the call chat, and everyone joins the board. There is no built-in Zoom integration.
Do participants need to pay or sign up?
No. Only the host needs a plan. Guests join with the link, or by scanning the QR code, and type their name.
